Here at Compare Betting Sites we’re constantly on the lookout for the best deals available through a vast list of betting partners and today’s promotion is courtesy of betting giants, Paddy Power. The popular bookmakers offer daily ‘Power Prices’, boosting the odds available on various betting markets every day. Here we take a look at Monday’s Daily Power Prices:
North Macedonia, Russia and Germany to win – 6/4 (was 11/10)
Latvia, North Macedonia’s opponents on Monday, currently sit bottom of Group G without a single point from their first five games. With a goal difference of –18, Latvia are undoubtedly the group’s whipping boys and were on the receiving end of a 6-0 defeat at Austria on Friday. Whilst North Macedonia are hardly an elite footballing nation, they should have enough about them to claim all three points in Riga. North Macedonia were 3-1 winners when the sides met in March.
Russia take on Kazakhstan on Monday having claimed a huge 2-1 win away at Scotland on Friday evening. When the sides met in Kazakhstan back in March it was the away side that ran out comfortable 4-0 winners. As they chase a top-two finish, Russia should again prove too strong for Monday’s hosts.
The last team in this boosted treble are European powerhouses, Germany. The Germans lost 4-2 at home to the Netherlands on Friday but should prove too strong for Northern Ireland. With only two nations qualifying from each group for next summer’s European Championships and Netherlands improving with each game, Germany cannot afford to drop points against Northern Ireland.
Russia, Germany and Hungary to win – 3/1 (was 2/1)
We’ve made a case for both Russia and Germany to win in the treble bet above but if you’re a little unsure about backing North Macedonia to win away at Latvia then you may want to consider this treble instead. Hungary are looking good at the top of Group E and a win at home to Slovakia could put some daylight between them and the chasing pack. With Wales not in action on Monday, a win for Hungary will see them move six points ahead of third place in the race for Euro 2020 qualification.
Northern Ireland or Scotland to win – 5/1 (was 10/3)
There are two home nations in action on Monday evening and the challenge facing both Northern Ireland and Scotland is huge. Northern Ireland host Germany at Windsor Park whilst Scotland welcome Belgium to Hampden Park.
There is no doubting that both nations are up against it, taking on two legitimate international football heavyweights however, both Northern Ireland and Scotland will be optimistic of upsetting the odds on Monday evening.
Northern Ireland are one of Europe’s most in-form sides at the moment and go into the game against Germany on top of Group C having won all four qualifiers to date. Northern Ireland’s four remaining group games will see them face Germany and the Netherlands both home and away. If Michael O’Neill’s side are to reach next summer’s European Championships then their home games will prove crucial.
The stakes aren’t quite as high for Scotland having already guaranteed a play-off place via the Nations League. However, new head coach, Steve Clarke, will want to build momentum throughout the rest of the qualification campaign, starting at home to Belgium.
Poland and Germany to win (HT/FT) - 6/1 (was 4/1)
The top two meet in both Groups C and G on Monday evening as Poland and Northern Ireland host Austria and Germany respectively. With so much at stake it would hardly be surprising to see the match favourites to come racing out of the blocks. You can back both Poland and Germany to be leading at half-time and full-time at a very tempting price of 6/1 with Paddy Power.
Estonia or Kazakhstan to win 18/1 (was 11/1)
Kosovo’s surprise win over the Czech Republic at the weekend has given a new-found belief to many of the smaller nations ahead of Monday’s games. Paddy Power have therefore boosted the odds for two of Europe’s dark-horses to spring an upset. Estonia have lost all four group games so far but they are a far tougher proposition on home soil. Both home losses so far have come by the same 2-1 scoreline. Next up is the Netherlands and on paper the group leaders should run out easy winners however, it remains to be seen how much their recent win over Germany has taken out of this youthful Dutch sides.
Kazakhstan were humbled 4-0 at home to Russia back in March but if they perform as they did when crushing Scotland 3-0 in their opening group game, they could get the better of their Russian neighbours. Third-placed Kazakhstan trail Russia in second by five points therefore this game is a must-win game for Monday’s hosts.
Over 1.5 goals scored in each 7:45pm Euro 2020 qualifier – 15/2 (was 11/2)
There have been 33 European Championship qualifiers played this month and 29 of those games saw at least 2 goals scored. Therefore, Paddy Power’s odds boost of 15/2 on over 1.5 goals could prove excellent value. Here's a list of the fixtures included in this Power Price offer:
